01 Who we are and what this covers
This Privacy Policy describes how Matthew Dunlop, doing business as ScriptBuild ("ScriptBuild," "we," "us") collects and uses information through the ScriptBuild platform, white-label applications we operate for business customers, and our website (the "Service"). The Service is a business tool: when you use a branded app licensed by a company, that company also determines how your content and performance data are used within its account.
02 Information we collect
Account information. Sign-in is via Sign in with Apple; we receive the identifier and, depending on your settings, the name and email you choose to share.
Content you submit. Product names, prices, and descriptions; product or video URLs you ask us to process; scripts you seed, generate, edit, or save; and performance metrics you log (such as views and click-through rates).
Usage and device data. Standard technical information such as app version, device type, log data, and how features are used, collected to operate and secure the Service.
03 How we use information
We use information to provide and operate the Service; generate and score scripts; maintain your account's script pool; provide support; monitor performance, security, and abuse; comply with law; and improve the Service. We do not use your information for third-party advertising.
04 AI processing and model improvement
Script generation is powered by third-party AI providers that process your submitted content to return output. Your logged performance data updates your own account's example pool by default. Contribution of anonymized winning scripts to a shared, cross-customer pool happens only if you opt in; you can withdraw from future contributions at any time by contacting us.
05 How we share information
We do not sell personal information. We share information only with:
Service providers that host and power the Service (cloud hosting, database, and AI providers) under agreements limiting their use of the data.
Your licensing brand. If you use the Service through an app licensed by a company, that company can access content and performance data within its account (for example, an admin dashboard).
Legal and safety. When required by law, to protect rights and safety, or in connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets (with notice where required).
06 Data retention
We keep information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the Service, resolve disputes, and meet legal obligations. You may request deletion of your account data at any time (see Section 08); anonymized data that no longer identifies you may be retained.
07 Security
We use reasonable technical and organizational safeguards appropriate to the data we handle, including Sign in with Apple (no password database) and access controls on production systems. No system is perfectly secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
08 Your rights and choices
Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or receive a copy of your personal information, and to object to or restrict certain processing. To exercise any of these, email 4itfcompany@gmail.com from the address associated with your account; we will respond within the time required by applicable law. If you use the Service through a licensing brand, we may direct your request to that brand where it controls the data.
09 Children
The Service is a business tool and is not directed to children under 18. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13; if you believe a child has provided us information, contact us and we will delete it.
10 International transfers
We are based in the United States and process data there. If you access the Service from elsewhere, you understand your information will be transferred to and processed in the United States, which may have different data-protection laws than your jurisdiction.
11 Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. We will post the revised version with a new "Last updated" date, and for material changes we will provide additional notice where required. Continued use after the effective date constitutes acceptance.
